The majority of UK homes have been built to very low standards of energy efficiency, air quality & livability, with the average home using around 20 times the energy of a home built to the Passivhaus standard. However, the emissions inherent in our existing homes’ construction make their demolition and replacement an incredibly wasteful and ecologically damaging approach.

We believe every home has the capacity to reach the best contemporary standards of healthy, sustainable living. This can be achieved through the thoughtful reworking of an existing homes plan, the integration of passive solar design, upgrades to a building’s thermal efficiency and advanced renewable energy systems.
